Rachelle Gang, a Knoxville native, joined Healthstar in 2024 as a Nurse Practitioner in Endocrinology, working alongside Dr. Mahmood. She earned her undergraduate degree from King University and brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having worked for eight years as a labor and delivery nurse. Rachelle balanced full-time work while obtaining her Master’s degree from King University, demonstrating her commitment and dedication to her profession.
Living with type 1 diabetes for 32 years, Rachelle brings a unique and personal perspective to her patient care, allowing her to connect with her patients on a deeper level. Her passion for supporting her patients and growing her practice is evident in her approach to care.
Outside of her professional life, Rachelle is a devoted mother to two boys, aged 15 and 11, and actively supports them at their sporting events. She comes from a large, supportive family who have been instrumental in helping her achieve her goals and reach this point in her career.
