Diagnostic lab testing is essential to the basic management of patient care. Lab testing allows physicians to detect diseases earlier, to make diagnoses and to assist in monitoring results.

HealthStar Physicians Lab provides the community with a comprehensive test menu using the most advanced technology. We provide point-of-care testing at our many ancillary sites located in Morristown, Jeff City, Newport, White Pine, and Knoxville. We offer occupational toxicology testing, breath alcohol screening, and therapeutical drug testing to assist in monitoring long term drug therapy.

Each year Healthstar Physicians Laboratory performs over 1.5 million tests. We have accreditation through Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and COLA.
